TIGERTAILZ play The Scala, Kings Cross, London, on December 16

Glam metal icons Tigertailz have announced a special Christmas show in London on Thursday December 16 at The Scala, 275 Pentonville Road, N1 9NL.

Following their sold out show at The Borderline in 2009, Tigertailz are returning to London with a rejuvenated line-up, a new live album, and no shortage of seasonal spirit. As well as headlining the opening night at the annual Hard Rock Hell festival (which sold out months in advance), Tigertailz bowed to fan demand and will round off 2010 with a festive flourish at The Scala.

After some soul-searching, the band returned - stronger than ever - in 2010, with a fresh line-up and an injection of energy. "Things have been tough over the last few years but the response to our comeback has been a revelation," reports frontman Kim Hooker. "We're all having such an amazing time and it feels great to be in this band again. The Scala will be a special Christmas show, and we'll be playing tracks from all our main albums. The band has never sounded this good.
